@uuq, you know how it goes at Intel—speaking up often gets you labeled a troublemaker. Your reviews suffer, regardless of how well your projects perform, and it feels like you're on a blacklist. The truly talented folks give it their best shot, but eventually leave because they realize they’re not truly valued. Those who stay often resist change, perpetuating a cycle of failure. Restructuring in bankruptcy doesn’t seem far off at this point.

I agree that many exiting with a cushy ERP chose to keep quiet and collect a paycheck rather than risk being shot as messengers. The culture here doesn’t reward integrity or honesty. When was the last time you witnessed true accountability at Intel? Issues get swept under the rug, and we keep pushing forward with failed strategies and a toxic culture.

If I was the CEO of AMD I’d contact Intel’s board with a buyout offer for x86 designs and IP of $1, just so the press would report they rejected another offer.

I read that article, which was pretty depressing, and have just one question: Who is John Galt?

Want to point fingers? Start here: Keller, Renduchintala, and Koduri. All are guilty of wasting time and money for YEARS.

Looks like I'm not the only veteran who's trolling this board. I loved Intel until Otellini came along. When he took over it was painfully obvious things were going in the wrong direction. Anyone who worked then and stayed care to comment why?

Yep. Post Krzanich and pre Swan there was a Circuit article that said " The P.C. is making a huge comeback". I freaked out at how out of touch Intel leadership was. I got a job with "The competition" and I'm still there now. I'm just here to see what's going to happen to the Folsom site.

I left in the 90s because management, the executives and the BOD wouldn't listen to a fu--ing thing we told them. Had a great career post Intel. Just here to see what happened to the company. Looks like things didn't Improve after I left.

@iso

Yes and I hope my work and career amounts to ten times what this wave did. They ki-led a company. They ki-led a huge American Brand. I hope I don’t ki-l an American institution. They sat back did sh-t and kept quiet as the wheels started falling off. Times gotta change. New era to speak up so this doesn’t happen again. Holding people accountable.

If you read their little goodbye bios they make sound like they did all this great work and achievements and were crucial to our success. Well what success? We are dying. They failed us but boy oh boy they are bragging about their accomplishments. F them. Their careers and life’s work legitimately and literally amounted to sh-t. They should just quietly fade away in shame. Their life’s work was worthless. Intel died on their watch
