After seeing who got laid off in the last round and who is still around, I'm determined to switch gears. I'm done working hard, I'll be working smart from now on. Why put in the work when all I need to do to be safe is kiss the right behinds? At least that's what these cuts have taught me.

12 years at Dell, 60 years old....still here.
My experience has been the opposite. Really good people have been cut. There is no rhyme or reason for the people that i've seen let go. Some have been around a long time and some not so much. All I know is, people have been affected by this WFR. The people that are left are picking up the slack. Also, some of the people that are left are thinking about new careers.
Unfortunately bootlickers get that lift up, why do you think we're in this mess.
