I don’t think any groups are “safe”. Majority of activity is today, tomorrow, Weds. If you haven’t heard by then you should be okay.

Karen has botched things so badly that even if you do go above and beyond and are part of the business that is doing well you still have no chance of being promoted and you’ll get 50% of your bonus instead of 45%. So bare minimum it is!
This site is hilarious to read. People here are complaining about getting laid off but are openly saying they will do the bare minimum. Isn’t that the problem that too many people are doing the bare minimum so the company is not turning around and then more layoffs so they complain more about layoffs. Go ahead and do the bare minimum but enjoy your layoffs.
I was notified yesterday in a brief ten minute scripted telephone call.
Last year around this time, before letting 5k people go, they announced it awkwardly about three weeks in advance… then, it was like this lingering dark cloud hanging over people’s heads every day you came into work. Meetings were more somber, people didn’t engage as much, and it was always a negative topic of conversation that kept coming up. All higher ups could do was to basically tell us to keep our heads down and keep working as best we could. I mean, what else could they say while the proverbial ax was hanging above people’s heads for three weeks. I actually would prefer finding out my fate the same week, vs. that previous scenario.
It's definitely not going to be a productive week for me at all.
@mmj+1uMT50pw this week only? I’m in bare minimum mode until Karen goes
You're probably correct here.
Nice job by upper management to basically ki-l off any desire by any employee to be productive this week (while waiting for the axe to swing).
