Look externally now even not on a bench. Kyndryl is a dying company, from the day that IBM spin it off. I was much relaxed and happy working for a different company now, at a similar position that I also interviewed within Kyndryl while on bench and they turned me down as my band level was too high for that posting. One position I interviewed within Kyndryl was to mentor Indian new hires, guess they went to bargain basement for the resources, not just in India but new college hires level, at the Wipro level. I would not take that position even if they had offered me. What does that say to the US resources? or any location that is more expensive than India? My suggestion to those still need a job for next few years, skill up and get a different job asap. Take care.
Not IF it’s WHEN!! If you go to the bench don’t waste your time looking internally! Bench is just a temporary spot before your layoff! Look externally immediately! Good luck!! From a former IBM/Kyndryl long time employee
