Who will feed your family if you are no longer around. I don't think THE UNION will. Clear that fog out of your brain. You are not being rational in any way.

There will be wanted posters out when everyone gets back
@7ghg+1uMHz0h9 congrats, that makes absolutely ZERO sense.
- Spirit Aero is a separate company (for now) and is NOT on strike, so what picket lines did they cross?
- Those striking are on the West Coast, most of Spirit is in the midwest.
- Even if they were from Boeing, cost cutting measures have limited travel.
Every day I see new Boeing faces that crossed the line walking around doing nothing at Spirit Aero in Wichita and getting paid for it
I pity the fools that do.
Nobody is getting a pension back.. you old people who can’t even walk need to retire!
See, @2ssz+1uMHz0h9 made my point for me.
All you want to do is keep your family from going hungry or homeless and this is what you get in return.
You get harassed so bad that for your own safety they need to transfer you to another plant.
And apparently, you may have your cabin burned down.
All because you want to make sure the one you love are provided for.
The union is just as heartless as Boeing. An entire organization that will make your life he'll just for making sure you can live.
I appreciate @2ssz+1uMHz0h9 speaking up. I can't even wrap my brain around the kind of person you are.
It was a cabin
Scab
The company will hate you too besides all of your coworkers. Company doesn't want you there right now or deal with the constant problems and daily hatred/harrassment you are about to have. If you live South, they will shop you to Everett. If you live North, they will ship you to Auburn, Frederickson or Renton. Based on past experiences. The Renton plant had one guy scab last time and his house mysteriously burnt down.
F the union.
This is how you find out how malicious unions really are.
When you need to feed your family or keep a roof over thier head, they expext you to choose the union over your blood relatives.
Think about that for a minute. An entire group of people who will ostracize you just for needing food.
Let it sink in!!!
Do what you have to do to take care of you and yours. Fu-k the people that think like that.
That will be the 3rd d-mbest decision of your Life !!! The other two ??? Not finding another job somewhere else a year ago and hiring on at boeing to begin with. I wish you luck !!! Your life's about to become a living he-l !!!
Contact a friend to do it with ya. You will need him or her. Good luck.
Its ok to cross if you are just trying to survive. All these old timers yelling at everyone to hold the line for their pension back is just thinking for themselves not you! You do you. Stop being a su-ka, make that money. It actually is not a bad ideal to be kicked out of the union, no union dues. Let them fight it, you reap the rewards with them afterwards lol
Same here 3 weeks of walking the picket line and zero on my debit card. I ain't walking no more, the union can shove their picket sign up their ar-e.
Contact your manager if you plan to cross the picket line. Your manager will inform you once your badge has been activated to return to work.
If you decide to cross the picket line, there’s no requirement to resign from the union, but you may be fined by the union. If you choose to resign from the union, it will not impact your Boeing wages, benefits or seniority—during or after a strike. Your Boeing job status will not be impacted as a result of resigning from the union and/or crossing the picket line during a strike.
