Do they really need a whole week for layoffs? I'm hoping the bulk of it happened yesterday and they're just wrapping things up today. I'm not sure I can take a whole week of this. I've had enough stress and worrying in the last several weeks to last me a lifetime.

There is nothing you can do about this. Learn to put it away in a box in your mind and focus on things you CAN do something about today.
There is an All Hands meeting with an AVP for some groups later today, which usually means that particular group is done (FOR THIS ROUND).
More are coming, one team was told “safe for now”.
