Really hoping (like most of you out there a this point) to get laid off and take a package at this point, as I can’t stand working here anymore. I know some had been saying October 21st. Is that still the case? Or are we thinking that they want to see how many quit before doing more layoffs?

"Oh please lay me off, please lay me off?"
Complete joke of a company.
JC should be fined/court marshalled/sent to a penal colony. I think MD is, and always has been in over his head.
I feel like the people that have made it this far are getting the worst of it. Bad work moral. Double the workload. Strict RTO policies. No promotions for years. It’s like the more you show your blind loyalty because you still have a family to support , the more you get sh----d on. Now we have to worry about following ridiculous polices so we can still try to get a severance. What a joke!
They maybe think that the majority of people will take it. Depending on your financial situation, you may have to. It may backfire where too many people leave. What the he-l is the internal gameplan? How many people do they think will leave, how much severance they have to pay etc. Who friggin' knows.
I'd suggest Q3 once the dust has settled. I'm convinced this is targeting Field sales, they're more likely to walk, the older Field will not go into office for attendance like kids, they'll walk or retire. Only the desperate will stay.
yup. same here. sticking my middle finger to them in hopes of getting a ticket out.
Working at dell has been embarrassing experience and I want out at this point.
