Most people are planning to leave as soon as they can. The only ones I know who are planning to stay are those who are within two years of retiring. They also hate it here, but they’re sticking it out until they can retire. It makes no sense to job hunt if you're about to call it quits anyway. I remember a time when everybody wanted to work here. Sad how much things have changed.

@wtb, people are getting jobs. If you have current skills it might take a while at this time of the year but you will find a job. If you have been doing the same thing over and over for the past 15 years and didn't stay current then it will probably be a hard road.
True most want to leave asap but they can’t no one wants to hire former Intel employees. It’s like having a toxic hazard sign on your resume
Bye Bye Bummers !
Only people who want to appear on Linus Tech Tips or Gamers Nexus YouTube videos want to stay.
So happy to be getting out of this place after 28 years. Intel was once a great place to work. The last 3-5 years have been nothing but a downward toxic spiral.
They underpay hard workers and promote ar-e kissers who cheat, lie and steal.
There is so.much toxicity in these threads. I've been at intel for close to 15 years. I have always loved my job. I look forward to it on a daily basis. It has provided a very comfortable income to raise my family. I chose to stay. I've worked for other companies and I don't see all this negativity people keep having about.
There are others who choose to stay and want to be part of healing the company. I qualified for ERP but about 10 years away from true retirement. My choice did have an element that I don't want to do a job change if I don't have to. The other key consideration was I viewed Intel is at its lowest now. Fab technology is catching up at 18A (Q2'25-Q3'25 will know), then 14A is on roadmap and hope it will stay on track. Given the recent leadership's decision making to prioritize projects, we'll have a much better chance to keep our promises internally and externally. Then on the product side, LNL, GNR, Clearwater Forest are highly competitive products, hope Arrow Lake will be as well. Last but not least, our foundry customer win like AWS, USG, and others in the pipeline for 18A gives me hope that Intel will come back stronger in the next 2 - 3 years.
Today is my last day and I am thrilled to be moving on! Never looking back. Taking my skills to better experiences. See ya!
