Survey time. Please stop helping this company meet their regulatory requirements.Just boycott it. Food for thought. While US employees worry about their jobs Philippines Optum Global is having on the spot hire job fairs like every 2 weeks. The Philippines work 12 months but get 13 months of pay. They get raises every 6 months and a yearly bonus. They get 8 hours of pay and a differential . They get time and a half even if they are on salary . They get their pto but they also get every national holiday in the Philippines including days off during the week that are deemed holidays by their government. They also get a free bachelor degree and they are never worried about layoffs . So remember all of you who jobs will be soon replaced by foreign labor because the US does nothing to protect its citizens and neither does this greedy company.

It's called "cratering" and involves charging the same prices for services you then perform more poorly and cheaply than before. There's a lag time for the market to catch up and in the meantime profits get pumped up.

UHG isn't the only insurer doing it, and CVS is in turmoil, so it's prime opportunity for UHG to pull it off without having mass customer exodus.

Yes, they make a ton of profit, multiple billions as I recall. It sure wouldn't hurt them to pay a little more for USA based workers. That statement includes our multi cultural co-workers not just Americans. Of course they are worried about their shareholders.

80% workforce to offshore. US companies against the own country, so greedy about the profits.
