I saw when I was out that credentialing had another layoff, do we know how many were affected? Or which departments within credentialing? :(

Gawd, they let people go on a Friday? wth?
Both internal and external credentialing and also audit was hit pretty hard as well. Not sure the exact numbers yet, but many were let go. Much more than the 3-4 people at one time that has been happening weekly in departments.
Credentialing, audit, IT, recruiting, payroll are the positions that have the highest rate of going completely offshore with outsourcing. Some HR personnel and management have mentioned this. If you're in those positions I'd highly suggest looking for other employment. Those are the positions that have been hit the hardest with the layoffs.
