Review Your Paycheck and PTO Balance

Review your paycheck for 09/30/2024. If you notice that your PTO balance has been paid out, it indicates that you have been selected for the layoff.

I went into 'My Payslips' on Colleague Zone. My 9/30 payslip is locked. I can't view or print it. This does not feel great.

The PTO was paid out on the last actual working week we were paid last year. Not the last week of non working employment. So, could potentially happen if you are immediately released.

Most worked two weeks after notification. This allowed for finalizing items and handoffs.

@1byw+1uKqHWTQ Literally the OP says this. This forum is really full of low IQ folks who get off on making up random nonsense

This is absolutely getting too ridiculous. The more I read this forum, the lesser I think laid off will happen next week.

"Did everyone on bi-montly schedule got their salary credited on Friday? Normally it is deposited on the last working day of the month. Surprised to see it arrive on Friday."

I did and mine never hits early, my bank doesn't usually do that

Actually, instead of a direct deposit of my check, I had a direct withdrawal. Apparently, I was let go 2 weeks ago and they have charged me rent for occupying my work area during that time.
Never got a notice.
Surprised.

@JFC you people are weird and stupid. That is not how any of this works - stop sitting here making cr-p up to try and freak people out. Your damn paycheck TOMORROW is not going to indicate one damn thing about your getting laid off tomorrow, this week, or not. Stop being losers

Who said your paycheck tomorrow will indicate about a layoff selection? Are you on dr-gs?

@1ksy+1uKqHWTQ…check the payday schedule on Colleague Zone. Pay day is not always exactly on the last business day. Also, some banks process direct deposits earlier than others.

This is not true. No one is going to have their PTO paid out tomorrow. If your job is eliminated as part of this RIF, you’ll receive a Colleague Separation Guide and a severance agreement that outlines what will happen with your PTO accrual and how your banked PTO will be paid out at the time of your separation.

That’s not how they did it last year, PTO accrued balance was paid out at separation date.

They will pay out 40 hours of PTO, equivalent to one business week. The remaining PTO hours will stay in your bank for you to use before your last day.

Won't you have until the end of the 60days or whatever period they keep you on payroll before that can be "used" and would be paid off at the end with severance?
