I’m coming to the hub. I will travel more than two hours there and back. I will finally have time to catch up with podcasts and audio books I haven’t had a time for while WFH. I’m going to sit in the corner on the floor if needs be. But from now on, I’m going to do less than a bare minimum. No more extra effort, exceeding targets, working overtime. None of it. I’m just going to sit there, munch popcorn, and go around the hub to meet people that I never saw before nor worked with. Imagine all the fun gossip and sports talk! From now on, I’m going to be a model Dell office-based employee. And they are not going to get rid of me without severance.

Good points Will resist meetings that conflict with my 1 hour commute and ask that they be scheduled for the benefit of face to face interaction and collaboration. Going to play this way until they decide to package me out the door.
