Q should just go the AMZN way. Fire bottom 5% every year. Company saves severance $$. Employees are happy as there's no uncertainty and no time to whine. Win-win.

Remove bottom 5% in US and hire the same in India?
How would they ever grow the India team if they did that?
Yes, in Amazon, high titles have too much power to be pip'ed pr fired. In Q, too many high titles get layed off. Perhaps removing bottom 5% versus based on high cost would be more fair.
