Everyone remember...Dell is a green company. Meaning they are all in on the green agenda. By forcing a RTO they are contributing to the green house gases they are so keen on claiming they want curbed. I've been a remote worker for this company for 15 years.... No office within a 5 hour 1 way drive for me. Guess it's time to polish up resume and wait for that 'package' - assuming they are still giving out packages by the time they get to me. Which I have no doubt they will because - I'm remote. It's merely a way to 'trim' the workforce without having to pay the packages this maneuver. I call total bullsh-t.
This is what EMC sales did before Dell acquired them! Start the day in the office, go to customer appointments, then return to the office before going home. Waste of time!

Sales only eh? I see the writing on the wall. One organization does it, the rest will follow. Guarantee the entire company with be mandated RTO 5days/wk within the next 6 months.

I think this is great for the environment, economy, the future of the USA and families. Fuel conumption will increase pushing more CO2 into the environment. This may create more chaos in the environment which will encourage and enable innovative employees to create AI technologies to reduce CO2 emissions. A true opportunity for entrepreneurship!
Children will have less time with parents and be forced into more daycare. This will further encourage smaller families and more independent children who will view their parents as complete strangers. Children will realize the reality that corporate big wigs are their real families and all loyalty should be to the C-suite billionaires. The reduction in American family size will promote more legal immigration to replace the children who can't be born due to missing parents stuck in long commutes. Subscriptions to satellite radio may go up improving the economy and creating jobs. It's a net win for everyone.

Asked my manager about this this morning and he said he hasn't heard anything about that from our VP's/Presidents of my department (Not in Sales) which who knows... It'd be nice to know if this is the case because I'm about 50 mins from HQ and my lease is up in a month so...
Anyone who survives the next cull will RTO in Q1 FY26. All back we've been told by a senior director. If you live too far from an office the messaging will be to seek other employment.
It’s not just sales. I was told by my manager I have to come back in January five days and I’m not sales.
I’ve heard from a manager this morning that company wife RTO will come by the end of the. current FY, February.
I have it on good authority that it is just sales. They want the sales people to quit without severance. It’s pretty much upskill or outta here
