Layoffs right before the Holidays? Cruel. I hope management cuts happen. I’m sure they turn around and hire entry level folks next year. I’m sure severances will destroy bonuses next year anyway
Consider making reductions in areas such as the newly hired positions within Supply Chain/Inventory, CM!. Field employees have already been streamlined, and it may be worth reassessing recent staffing increases in office departments over the past year.
The only thing I've heard is that my manager said that he heard it'll be largely services departments with some just before Thanksgiving and the rest in January before bonuses in February.
