If you sit back and look around do you really think this is just a Dell thing? Look at the crashing commercial real estate nation wide and the failing economy. In my opinion they over shot on the work from home idea and it worked too well but is destroying large cities left and right. I’m sure all major companies will do this with some type of government encouraging.

Large cities? It has revitalized entire small towns and cities since people can move to places with a better quality of life and can actually afford a home. Also, people act like everyone left the city during Covid. Remote isn’t just about country bumpkins in tech. It opened companies up to the idea that you can hire anywhere, even in other cities. It’s about talent, not location, and location can also make it cheaper. I mean sh-t every tech company wants us up at the crack of dawn for endless zoom calls with sh---y contractors in India. Why not Des Moines?
