I know nobody wants to be in the office for five days but if you quit over this you're doing exactly what they hope you'll do. Don't give them that satisfaction. RTO is returning. Even if you find another hybrid job somewhere else, it's only a matter of time before it too switches back to full in-office. I hate this but I have no plans to leave over it. If they want me gone that badly, they can pay me to leave, like other people who have been laid off.

For real, look for another job passively and collect that severance check. Then when it you get the boot, you have your resume and LinkedIn ready. Line up interviews. Next round starts next week
