I saw on Glassdoor a squad leader was asked to either relocate or resign- but would be offered severance.
From those who remember the terms of the March RIF- what’s a typical severance package like?
Does it vary by grade? Tenure?

A few months salary, some worthless (scam) job search/resume building service.
No prorated bonus or profit sharing.
lead with empathy - how very HR to say
The terms of my separation was written on a nunya contract basis.
Most of us understand that our jobs are not safe. No one in the past has had empathy for those laid off. It’s just something we all know will happen to us, at this firm. It is relevant to everyone so we can prepare.
Don’t be snowflakes.
And if you’re going to ask a question addressed to those laid off, you might want to lead with empathy and say you’re sorry that happened to them.
Because what any person received is their personal business.
Other questions asked on here like, “does anyone know anything about a potential VBO” aren’t personal.
Why would anyone visiting a site called the layoff say “it’s not anyone’s business” Hypocritical.
Previously it was 2 weeks paid for one year worked.
It’s not our business to know what anyone got. That said, from all indications it is generous. I’ve heard 6 months from multiple reliable sources, and I heard a year from one unreliable source.
