I was one of those who got laid off, and very glad it happened. I knew ship was sinking months ago. So I get paid to find a new job that's a promotion and more money? Thanks Global! Best thing you could've done for me!

Lets not fight amongst ourselves over what happened please. Yes OP sounds bitter but wouldn't you be bitter if the axe fell in you? What would you do if you got fired over a zoom call with no prior warning? In the name of decency please let people grieve and stop shi##ing all over them.
