Lots of RTO rumors - my whole team is remote from director down and so are many others. This doesn't seem like it's legit unless it's just certain groups. Also many of the facilities don't have the room for everyone to be there unless they crank up the layoffs on a huge scale.

Got the email - I guess we will see what really happens. My manager said we don't have to go in on Monday... It's an interesting time to be at Dell.
It's up to China what they want us to do.
The email coming out today says ALL global sales team members but then specifically calls out that field sellers must also be in office 5 days a week if they are close enough.

All field sales regardless of role will be mandatory 5 days RTO if close enough to a partner site or Dell office. All others we’ll talk later. Come on now…let’s be real.

We were one day a week before Covid. If we now have to go in five days a week it’s not fair that the remote workers get to stay remote.

Just hybrid. Remote can stay remote ... for now... hybrid can't change back to remote now that it's 5 days. What a bait and switch deal for hybrid people to agree to 3 days and have to do 5 now.
do we know if its just hybrid -> 5 days a week or both hybrid and remote?
They need to reduce headcount and this is an easy way to force the hand of people without that big package in aome countries.

It has nothing to do with productivity or collaboration on site.

It's not a rumor. An email is going out soon. Hybrid is 5 days a week now 🤣 not sure why they call it hybrid? Pre covid we did 3 days a week in office. Dell is regressing.
