HPE Sales To Take the Lead

In talking to senior US Aruba sales management this week, they are getting ready to start cutting Juniper Sales reps as of Day 1.

They are going so far as looking at LinkedIn profiles to look for those Juniper reps who switched on and then drawing up mock sales teams.

There is definitely some tension between the HPE sales and the Juniper transition team.

Juniper SEs and SE management are perceived as essential - sales not so much.

The talk about “keeping the team together” through the transition is a load of garbage. HPE has made it clear they are buying the IP, not the people.

Right lol .. because Day 1, HPE and Aruba sales reps can immediately step in and sell Juniper platforms....

I would love to see everyone of the sales leadership to be kicked out. None of them have any true sales skills.

What do you mean by ‘looking at LinkedIn profiles of employees who switched on” ? Do you mean employees who turned on open to work or??

At least in my area, I feel most of the sales org could use some cutting. This past year has been a constant nightmare of accounts ever changing. Leadership ever changing. Turn over is stagnating any movement.

It feels like everyone is playing a waiting game of what will happen but are also done trying to navigate all the disorganization and chaos. So they aren’t going to do the work and instead just interview for the next job. At this point, I can’t blame them.

The CRN article Tuesday provides a lot of insights as well as some recent HPE blogs referenced.

Good. Left awhile back. The VP leadership, at least in ENT that is now there is completly sinking the culture.
