  • Deal is set to close early to mid October.
  • HPE wants as much lead time as possible to prepare for its Q1 (Nov 1).
  • The HPE board is pushing to see a strong Q from HPE and JNPR must be ready to sell on Nov 1.
  • JNPR sales management will be terminated with prejudice late October - HPE Aruba will take over.
  • JNPR marketing will be terminated with prejudice mid October - HPE Aruba will take over.
  • JNPR channel organization will be terminated with prejudice late October - HPE Aruba will take over.
  • Many in the Mist org will not be brought into HPE as they are viewed as non-productive assets who have not raised Mist marketshare above 5%.
  • Day 1 for JNPR employees will be mid Oct.
  • HR Consultants will be on standby on Zoom/Teams to deal with those who have not been transitioned to HPE.
  • HPE is slotting JNPR employees into the lower bands of the job profiles - unless employees push back.

{Considering they conveniently changed our bonus schedule from 6 months to one year in Oct 2022, 99% sure the plan from the get go is to save on a year of bonuses. Juniper really cares about their employees!}

The reason behind the bonus change was "to simplify things with only processing 1 bonus cycle each year. 2 cycles was too much work". I am sure the cost savings to Juniper was never a factor ;-)!

|Will we receive pro-rated payout of our bonuses?

Supposedly but I wouldn’t hold my breath. You’re assuming there will be a bonus to pro-rate. I’m guessing there will be something but who knows.

| If we're not given an offer letter, what severance package could we possibly receive. HPE doesn't give packages. We're unemployed come October 15th.

It's been stated and in writing that HPE has committed to maintain any severance benefits and other benefits in the overall that are least equal to what JNPR offers for 12mths post close of the acquisition.

a lot of obviousness blended with free speculation here.

| Can legal action be taken against ML for saying on a company wide call that 99% of employees will keep their jobs and then that being quietly walked back by email sometime later?

Where is a copy of aforementioned email?

| Day 1 for JNPR employees will be mid Oct.

Wrong. Zero chance Deal closes in Oct and Employee Day 1 is within the same month. They can't even get basic acquisition paperwork done reasonably quickly, yet you think they'll be ready to transition (or terminate) employees that quickly?

Obviously Troll is Obvious.

Can legal action be taken against ML for saying on a company wide call that 99% of employees will keep their jobs and then that being quietly walked back by email sometime later? He’s knowingly lying to keep people in roles to hit quarterly results but knows HPE doesn’t need them after close.

LOL to the people think we're going to receive a package. There is no package.

I wonder what type of packages laid off people will get...

The minimum (60 days) salary or something better?

Will we receive pro-rated payout of our bonuses?

This makes sense.

HPE has to show as much profit as possible on Q1 or they will be eaten alive by analysts. They only way to do that is to get rid of Juniper Sales Management: CK, JM in particular.
