Earlier this year, there were rumors about a pilot program that have pharmacists remotely verify prescriptions for multiple stores at a time.
The one store that was doing it was still operating with a pharmacist such as during the day and then, after, say 5pm, that pharmacy would switch to a remote pharmacist who would verify prescriptions remotely and then talk on a phone to any patient that needed a consultation.
