Thread regarding Nordstrom layoffs

380 overnight forgotten and unworthy.

Promises promises.
The unworthy night crew at 380 who needed raises were denied what everyone else received... the full raise. We received 60%... and nothing will come our way as promised in October.
Hey, we can’t afford groceries, and you created a raise in two parts 8 months apart. Most company managers gave their employees the full amount available...not 380. We will get nothing.
Last Chance employees make 2 dollars more Per hour than the 380 night low life's.
380 won the shrink cup... 10,000$ prize
The night crew were told a cafe breakfast will await
Then...were told a food truck will be coming.
No...
A pizza party occurred for the day crew, but no one on the night crew were told or invited or knew about it.
Ice cream for the store,.. but not the night crew.
Inventory.... as soon as the day shift left (in reality the night crew who had to work the day) food, treats and goodies were broken out!!! A fiesta!

Run away from Nordstrom!! Leave! No managers care about employees. Numbers and profits is what matters to them. They can't do anything about your wages let alone care....
They're only glad if they have their position and don't need to bust their but*s off.
Find a second job and lower your availability on Workday for Nordstrom.

She (the store manager) set up a form where we (the undesirables) can speak to her about problems and concerns.
Anything and everything is ignored.
Listening not doing.
What’s the point?
Wages are the main concern being constantly ignored.
When are wages in Arizona going to be brought in line with the rest of the company?????

You're funny. What other facts that they're hiding? The grab and run at Cali store? The fact that gaining profits from store closures and layoffs? Therefore, more money goes into the royals pocket? Cutting hours and benefits? Or is it the fact that they're just taking the money for themselves instead of compensating the people they rely on? That's cute....

Here’s what’s happening.
It’s all about your Substandard wage in Arizona, and the deal between the California DC and 380.
All of the Returns that the DC should process are sent to 380 to be processed by the low wage 380 undesirables. 10’s of thousands of them.
California DC saves labor, they are paid a fair wage.
This happens to no other FL store.
Choking / ignoring giving raises for 380’s hourly l-wlifes saves the company and the DC money. Who cares about Arizona

The last thing i wanna hear from payroll.. it’ll reflect on your next check. I was promoted guess what… the pay raised was reflected in November check. I waited 2 months since the promotion day to see the raise. Same thing happened to the other ADM. #wedontworkforfree

Haahaaa place the hire ups and store managers. Let them ship and process their own goods. Not fast enough, guys!!! Gotta reach that 500 UPH. Not good enough. Pay them $7 and hour. CEO gotta eat, right?
I never want to support Nordstrom when they can’t treat employees better. I hope the store receives $100k returns a day and customers shop with only the notes.

There is an obvious issue here MN.
Your refusal to acknowledge an entire department in any way is egregious!
This has been a constant issue since your arrival.
You hesitate to set foot into the department because... it’s to hot, smells like fe--s, to messy, to loud, and the dregs down in the bowels aren’t worth
a thought of yours, or the time of day.
You had no idea where the defibrillator was installed... ha! Because.... you never go down there.
Ps... Obviously you are hated in the dungeon.

380 is the lowest paying FL store in the nation... yes, they’re proud of that.
Controlling labor costs is a bonus $ category for your manager. That’s why he withheld giving you your raises that were approved.

I’m so grateful to be working here, so I can bust my butt so you can afford a new SUV yearly.
I’m underpaid, under appreciated, overworked, and the department I work for is NEVER recognized.

I am not in 380 location but i cal tell you, whoever leaves “stop complainin” comment is out of touch of reality. Maybe you should trade position with 380 night crew for 3 months at the very least… Let’s see how u handle it.

Nordstrom store is nothing without night crew…. Treat your employees better.
