I also hear of a phased approach of cuts extending to 2026, possibly beyond in my part of the business. If true, it is beyond the realms of reason other than to make employees walk!….KD and Genuinely caring for others?? A categorical Not!

The transformation talked about in reality equals cost cutting and replacement of targeted US/UK employees by our new Indian colleagues.

Hopefully in the transfer & handover to Pune our corporate history is not lost! Heaven forbid, could the share price go any lower?

I didn’t realize they would pro-rate the reinvent shares. I guess I assumed if you were laid off without cause they would pay it out in full.

Castrol and P&C were told clearly this is 'a phased approach and that reductions will go on through 2025 and well into 2026' Technology was told Q1 next year but I would bet money that will be phased too they just aren't being told. Who wants to stay around for that? KD also outlined that virtually all their jobs would be in Budapest, KL and Pune so as someone mentioned here earlier the Functions in the US will be gutted and it sounds like that is the case in the UK as well. Get out while you can unless the package is too good to give up. KD said the reinvent stock would be pro-rated per the time you were here but they will wait until Q1 for end dates because if they cut by Dec they have to pay your bonus based on last year's number which was really good but if they wait until Jan they can pay on this year's number which will most definitely su-k. We already have an office in Mexico City that is pretty big bet that will be our LATAM office where we get cheap labor and CST time zone. We'll all see...

Anyone have an idea on the percentage of people impacted?

I heard that the LT was told to stay very vague so that they don't prompt employees that are being released to stop working. This is totally against caring for others. I dont understand why they just cant be transparent and open about who will be cut so they have the time to find another job. Straight forward answers needed, stop with the feel good cr-p.

I got the email. Murray was celebrating that the price was the same value exactly 30 years ago and that such consistent performance is impressive.
