Thread regarding ViacomCBS layoffs

Retaliation is not only illegal but also morally inexcusable, especially from someone who claims to be a "leader." An individual being laid off as a result of retaliation is not to be blamed.

No employee should face shame for logging formal, legitimate grievances through HR or other proper channels, regardless of the reason.

Many employees here endure toxic work environments daily. If they were to approach HR with the intention of improving their team's situation, they'd receive more respect from any honest person, than those who remain passive and do nothing to contribute to a healthier work atmosphere.

Actually it is some people’s fault. The company is a disaster and it can’t all be blamed on Shari and Bob. This is a company, not a family. The fact that so many view VIAC as a family and not a sports team speaks to the decades-long rot that has festered at 1515 and in outposts further afield.

It is their fault if they made complaints against coworkers , mangers or the company along the way. Many people will be getting laid off in retaliation for being complainers or complained against
