The legacies failed to commit fully to EVs early enough in technology, manufacturing methods and software. It’s too late for catchup at this point. They’ll go down with the ship clinging to ICE. They’re bloated with the wrong skill sets and have no real leaders. MB or any of the C suite don’t care. They’ve made their fortunes.
Like it or not it’s about technology technology technology. Like him or not, musk has the balz and now the resources to crush the competition and strangly enough he’s openly shared his technology. Another oddity is that he wasn’t even invited to the last EV summit because sleepy joe said Mary led the way. Huh
Sounds like another pie in the sky project from GM propulsion systems..( not to be confused with Cogsworth Cogs or Spacely Sprockets)....
