Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

If you're unsure about quitting

Before I started job hunting, I asked myself one simple question: without the relatively new fear of layoffs, would I be happy here? For me, the answer was "no" and I knew what I needed to do. I think that's what people on the fence about leaving need to consider. If you answer that honestly, you'll probably know what to do.

@jvbu+1uFDwinT I wouldn't. The job market for those of us who aren't high performers is much tighter than it used to be, so I'd set aside at least 3-6 months to land something new. Keep working until you have a start date.

Do you recommend resigning without a new job lined up? I'm so tempted, would like to hear your thoughts on that.

If you are unsure about quitting just ask yourself 1 question - Did I learn anything new from my team or schwab that has increased my net worth by 25% in the last year. If the answer is yes stay if the answer is no don't even waste a single second here.
