Say it isn't so! Big rumor is: If you are over 40 years old, unless you are a VP, BD wants you out. And if you are over 40, forget about applying to BD...unless you are applying for a VP role!

Making this a DEI issue instead of a corporate greed one, is prob the d-mbest take possible
Can't see that being sustainable/reasonable at the manufacturing plants. Very few people make department/quality/engineering/whatever manager before age 40. All of the directors and plant managers are over 40.
A person making plant manager by age 40 would be considered to have a rockstar career and trajectory. Then you still have a WW director of manufacturing and VP above you. To achieve VP by age 40? Good luck.
