Field is sales and CS only

Sales is let go based on numbers so that has nothing to do with 'leaning' and global hc reduction.

Revenue and forecast = sales HC

Past five years, I just live knowing that ANY day, someone can be let go. I've seen good friends go over the years, and a bunch in the past few weeks (thankfully, "some" managers were at least kind enough to let some people know ahead of the 16th notice, so they had two extra weeks to fight for scarce jobs as it is). My heart to those affected recently......
Any day my badge works, is another day I can pay rent.
But yes, I expect layoffs to never end as jobs being replaced by "AI" and outsourced from America help the biggie wiggies keep their six figures and bonus money, while others fight for scarce jobs and face eviction.
Any day someone can be let go. I've just accepted that. No date needed.
Just give me a big heads up when it is my turn!!!!!

To those who don't know anyone, seems shocking. I know of many, ones I know personally and ones I don't know personally but have a connection. Goodbye emails have been received and have watched groups of people gathering to say their goodbyes. While I can't confirm any numbers, WFR is real!

" I do not know ONE, not even a single person."

This has to be trolling or you are very obtuse. Then you end with a sophomoric pep talk. LoL.

Just look at dells 10K and reporting, daft-king.

It's fascinating how many gossips are out there. How come so many people are being laid off and I do not know ONE, not even a single person. Based on the statistics, if there are so many... I should know at least one. Every company is letting go of people, it's a fact, it's part of the business. It seems like talking about lays off it's a Dell's culture, it does not matter if it's true or not. Everyone talks about it every single day for all the years I have been working with Dell. Why do you live in such an anxiety. Believe in yourself and your experiences, skills. There are so many opportunities. One door closes, another opens! Sending hugs!!!!

Do I understand it correctly, does it mean that 2859 people from the 4756 (top 5 sum) who were laid off, were remote? Thats 60%.

These numbers probably not including “field”. Probably a lot of remote folks hiding (but unaccounted for) under that category too
