Thread regarding 2U Inc. layoffs

Since the all company was a waist of time, what is next?

The company states they value their employees however, not enough to be transparent with us. What is next for this company. Have not seen any thing being done differently. Continue to be told to drive urgency and push students to complete their applications and enroll. Regardless as to whether they express concern about the cost of the degree. As employees who have dealt with constant changes and layoffs, we deserve more from leadership. We need real leadership and direction.

In a lot of ways its going to be business as usual. The bankruptcy was just a financial strategy designed to reduce the debt, which it did. Stockholders got wiped out but it put the company back on decent financial footing. All the previous office locations are officially gone and Lanham is closed while the new HQ is in Arlington so expect more hiring there and more remote employees will shift to South Africa.
