This is everything that's wrong with the company. These behind the scenes hostile workplace types. They just vomit negativity everywhere. Who cares.

Who's gonna run Space and Defense? Let's see... how about somebody from IT? Yeah, maybe with some car and banking cred.

This is how you drill a hole into the terra-firma really fast. Have we learned ANYTHING?

Should’ve been done 9+ years ago when he took Go4Zero a tad too far and drove Boeing IT into the ground.

Now what I actually came here to say- the IAM and its striking members are writing their own destiny right now in the worst possible way. If anything, this strike is going to accelerate Boeing’s move away from Puget Sound. The company’s management has been fleecing you and every other frontline Boeing worker for decades and their act is now up with all of the attention they are getting from customers, governments and regulatory agencies worldwide. Boeing cannot possibly come anywhere close to being half the company it was in the second half of the 20th century.

News flash for most of you, I’m sure- they don’t have any cash to give you. Any cash they do have is going to go into managing crises the company created and then straight to the contracts they signed with terrible examples of leadership like Mullenberg, Calhoun, now Colbert. If you were one of those guys on the outside now, do you realistically think you would say “gee… the company is in really bad shape right now. I’ll give back some of the $10, $20, $30M they owe me for the rest of my life.”? Fu-k no you wouldn’t.

There is no 797, MMA, whatever they want to call it now. It will not be built in Puget Sound, and if it is, I would be willing to bet it will be the only thing being built in Puget Sound when that day comes (if it stays in your new contract).

Get back to reality- use LTP funds while you still can to understand basic economics. It is not possible. This isn’t the 80s or 90s… everybody is going to get royally fu---d here. So when you do get your contract, enjoy the short term win and save some of that money. Because I think this will be the last one the machinists will ever see.
