Several layoffs have happened at Ericsson Australia in recent months.
Reason given was that the work for several customers is reducing.
Around the same time, a new customer operation manager position has been created.
As an ironic SLAP IN THE FACE to those laid off, the reason given for the new manager position is due to the GROWING DEMANDS of the manager's role.
Some other new senior manager positions have also been created due to yet another so-called functional transformation.
There never seems to have been any tangible quality improvements resulting from these 'transformations' in the past, apart from name change to some sections and a select few people getting promoted.
