Double Permian Recovery %?!

How in the world are we going to double recovery of oil in the Permian? I keep hearing the talking point but zero details of HOW it will be done. What gives? Is it a scam?

When you promote poor leadership, all they want is going up and making $$$$.
They will tell Darren they will triple recovery and production by drilling less wells….
Which is wrong all day everyday

Light weight proppant team is cooking the books for their PDS results benefit. Data says it isn’t worth doing and certainly isn’t a miracle or even close to it.

Bro. It is easy to increase production. Very hard to double RECOVERY. What happened to this company of people don’t even understand something this basic? We are doomed.

You all are maybe forgetting that all the regulatory constraints will be gone early next year.
Flaming sinkholes after the tremor. Pretty common.
But double production - heck - 500%!

Today's sand issues will be tomorrow's light weight proppant disaster. At least sand likes to stay with the water.

Let's get back to basic science. What do you think will happen when you mix solids that like to mix with oil?

But nobody wants to tell management the brutal truth.

Lightweight proppant is an expensive method of disposing waste from very far away refineries - nothing good other than that

Huff and puff is a scam. No way it scales without blowing emissions and OPEX and CAPEX through the roof while increasing downtime

The only production that will double is water, real talk

Lightweight proppant absolutely works from a technical perspective. Double? No, but it does work. I don’t know about the economics.

Now that the merger is over, we will start seeing backing off slowly from these claims, just like that algae hype faded away

GP is working on a project that is expected to increase oil recovery in the Permian. It’s a proprietary technology that we want to keep away from competitors. Small pilots show it fruitful.
