As someone who's had to move jobs due to bad finances or markets multiple times (x3 times in 6 years,no layoffs but yes, I worked in steps, I saw it coming and left right before the layoffs), you'll be fine. If you have skills, you'll land on your feet.
It's not ideal. Have to move and stay away from family because I don't let it affect them anymore. I just have to figure out how I be with them often enough until this settles down.
