There's a thread regarding PW's scheduled Town Hall below, and the consensus seems to be that everyone under PW got an invite to the Town Hall on 10/2, so that in itself is not an indicator.
But a few weeks ago right after the August cuts, PW sent out an email promising "cost reductions." Of course we all know that means people. (Not the super over-paid people, the people who do the work, of course)
And when you say “the PW org” who do you really mean? As PW has various DRs, none of which were let go today to my knowledge.
So which of PW’s DR’s team are you on?
Some long timers in the PW org got let go. Lots of institutional knowledge was let go. A very sad day.
If you haven't found by now then it probably doesn't concern you. I know of at least 6 VP/SVPs that were let go under PW. Some worker bees are getting impacted but they are heavily targeting management and big salaries.
To the last poster; any hints on which groups?
Many of us are still left in the dark at this time.
VPs and SVPs are getting let go en masse. Entire verticals/group gone. It feels a lot more than 15%.

Which app? P+? I don’t have issues with it but that app is not under PW. It’s owned by streaming tech. Since they are part of the reason the company was financially failing I don’t think it is money.
I'm a little relieved at 20 percent when 50 has been talked about for other teams divisions ....

You are so wrong it’s not even funny. Townhall means nothing as you noted. Of course the August email indicated reductions to come because as I see it he is always transparent. The 3 amigos asked every org to hit a savings number. So you are wrong the focus was on high cost resources. Did you noticed 3 of PWs EVP direct reports are already gone? I am sure next week we will see a lot of Sr. Director + being let go. This whole round of cuts it’s based on our terrible CEOs.
