Your preference is to use lube. We get it.

If you are in your 20s and 30s don't walk RUN and never look back. 50s and 60s will b!tch and burn this place eventually. Don't waste your life here.

Yes my manager announced that I was the tech lead during a standup almost a year ago and no pay raise or stock options or any other benefits. Just more work. I am interviewing at the moment coming up on my sabbatical that'll be right time to quit.

I have seen this happening in service company a lot.

This happened to my coworker. He was given an “expanded role” with no pay raise and quit after getting burned out. Schwab should be careful though, these kinds of things have a way of turning into class action lawsuits.

They are milking you dry. Get Out Before Its Too Late. Otherwise you will have nothing to show for once you are dry.

In the same boat, now I am supposed to do the work relevant to the role above me to be considered for next promotion. And my raise was less than 10%. Seriously startec applying else where, waiting for THE moment.

A Dry promotion is a promotion without a significant increase in salary or target bonus, but you get the title and responsibilities. It's also known as dry because its feel like you are taking it up the Alfred (butler ahem), and it from I hear it feels really dry without the lube.

Yes. That's what happened to me. New title, lots of new responsibilities, no pay or awards to go with it. Still just a 58 reporting to a 58 manager.

At least I have a new title to put on my resume.
