Next 50 closures

When do you think they will announce the next list? After Q4? During the normal "annual layoff" time? What are your thoughts?

DTLA Weekly is reporting the Downtown Los Angeles store (formerly The Broadway) is closing in early 2025.

By my calculation, this will be the first time since 1881 that downtown Los Angeles will not have a department store

Is this in FL? Lots of these moving in the FL area. Most are moving into the nearby Full Line door. This will be the trend for all the Free-Standing Furniture Galleries.

The closures are being announced in waves over the span of three years. 55 stores will close at the beginning of 2025, 50 additional stores will close in 2026 and 2027. Nobody wants this happening but we do want the truth, not months of speculation and uncertainty.

They haven’t even confirmed the first 55 when they’re scheduled to close at the beginning of next year. Only time will tell
