Intel said the manufacturing unit had $7 billion in operating losses for 2023, a steeper loss than the $5.2 billion in operating losses for 2022. 2024 is on track for $10 billion in losses.

@pja+1u9nK6xo, If me and you know this, you don't think the CEO know? They do this for their own growth, creating top level jobs for themselves and their buddies so they can buy $500M yachts. Why do you think the 2nd level managers keep hiring when they don't have enough work for current employees? All turf building.

Why expand if you can't fill the current factories to full capacity.

Who would have thought building new fabs and buying modern tools cost money. Obviously catching up and expanding will show a loss.
