Is there any truth to September layoff rumors? I've seen it mentioned a few times, but no additional info was provided, so I'm skeptical about it.

Yup notified yesterday that our last day is September 13

KYC pods in California were told today that we are being laid off. Last day for us is Sept 16
Working at Citi is depressing. There is no future there.
Next round of layoffs will be in November and December
