Anybody have any solid info on the upcoming layoffs they can share? # of impacts, business areas affected, timeline, etc.?

There have been continuous small layoffs all year. Seems like every month I learn of another handful of colleagues impacted by « restructuring ». This is nothing new been with the company a decade and this quiet release of people happens every year. Although it’s definitely been more this past year.
Once again….. beginning of October there will be over 5,000 mostly Aetna Health colleagues (employees) pushed out. For anyone thinking that attrition will do Karen Ly--h’s dirty work, they are wrong. People/employees have to have a job to go to before they can quiet of their own volition.
So again, 5,000+ will be pushed out starting Oct 1. I’m guessing Karen Ly--h and her leach, I mean husband, will be taking another luxury vacation using the company helicopter that Karen Ly--h purchased just before the last huge layoffs. Or perhaps they, her and leach, will just use the company jet to go back to Paris again.
Love it
They're letting attrition do their dirty work. Cheaper to let people walk and not replace them...place is a dumpster fire
I think we'll see a lot of no back filling positions. We have zero positions open that they've told us they just aren't allowed to fill.
I get the feeling that it will be more of a drip, drip, drip. So hopefully it won’t cause a panic like last year or as noticeable.
I'm a loser that's still checking it on the company's dime but the last few weeks and slowing down on this forum should prove the answer is no, nobody has any solid info.
Whatever excel algorithm that randomly selects names with a priority of higher salary for the same title or purpose will know.
