With the current leadership team, they must have some goal to pi-s off the entire workforce. Otherwise, they must be natural a--holes with no sense of self awareness. How could “people leaders” be so inept at leading people?
Honestly, do you really believe these leaders just sit around all day and think of ways to scr*w you? There was information going public about a change that some would perceive as noteworthy. They shared it with their teams via a quick meeting so you would hear it from them before you read it in the news. That's what they are supposed to do!
Are there layoffs coming? Isn't there always? But sometimes a meeting is just a meeting.
Real layoffs have been scheduled individually.
