Even BK was better than this clown
It depends on whom you ask. People used to say Bob Swan was great and understands the business after BK left. But we know the story and how it played out. Then they were all gaga over Pat Gelsinger out of Intel Labs to VMWare and back to Intel. Intel is VaporWare and getting NoWhere. For all the ways they treated employees in all the rounds of layoffs from wayback and till now, they simply deserve this decline and brought it on themselves.
Intel plowed hundreds of millions into EUV for 20 years and bob decided not to follow through. That one change doomed Intel
Beancounter Bob had one virtue: he at least knew how to count the beans. The financial position of Intel is in freefall under Pastor Pat.

BS tried to bring INTC to ~ 350B market value and was pushed out
PG is bringing INTC down to 50B market value and it is still ok because we think he can turn it around with Lord help

BS spent money on stock buybacks instead of investing in the technology necessary to keep up with TSMC. At this point, PG is only trying to make up for BS's short-sighted decisions.
