LOL 😆 🤣 A whole bunch of Directors and Managers have too big of an ego to update their Titles and Roles on LinkedIn. Hanging on to fake VMware Titles of Senior Director or Senior Manager of teams they no longer manage. Guess being demoted was too big of a pill to swallow for their "We're Not Technical", "We're People Managers" stance. It's actually sad.

Be kind. Many of our senior directors have worked at this company for 10-15 years and lack any current experience that would make them attractive to recruiters. Sad, but true

or it could be that BC f*cked up the import/aquisition and gave everyone the same generic title and yet you still kept your same role..
Changing it to Broadcom is equivalent to changing to Open to work? The recruiters will have a field day.
Broadcom is a chinese communist enterprise running inside USA. All the American values are slowly dying as America becomes indebted to chinese and they let America taken over by these chinese communists.

People with Senior Directors and Directors thought they have descended from heaven. Useless bunch of folks who misused vmware funds with unwanted foreign trips and what not. Bunch of shameless folks who took away American jobs. God bless USA.

I like my VMW title and Broadcom RSU. Why does that concern you?
Et alors ? Most people managers at VMware were/are still technical top performers in addition to taking on people management roles without addition compensation at broadcom. Broadcom chose de-title people with management responsabilities, but do you really think that impacted their responsabilities if they are still managing the same teams ?
