According to Macy's earnings report the "First 50" locations have improved customer experience, merchandise and visual presentations, offers unique store-level activations and community events. This will be implemented across the remaining 300 go-forward stores by the end of 2026.
Is there a list of the "First 50" locations?
I don't know many, but I know a few in NY/NJ :
In NJ-
Short Hills
Willowbrook
Garden State Plaza
Menlo Park
In NY -
Staten Island
Roosevelt Field
Queens Center
Why doesn't Macys just publish a list for all to see. Bad PR on their part.
Colonie Center (Albany) is a F50.
Why dont you go into one of the Distribution List in the Visual & Merchandising Portal and look at the Tiers column. It will say which doors are F50.
It's not some secret list
Only aware of the obvious locations like Herald Square but wondering which other stores are part of First 50. A Store Manager mentioned his store is one of them to me I think in an effort to get better equipment, of which I have no control as a vendor. At least 4 in NJ from what I’ve heard. Those locations had a 1% increase in sales for the 2nd quarter. Even Bloomies was down slightly but BlueMercury did well.

Yeah, but how were the SALES? According to this report, sales continue to be on the decline.

Did they say what the sales were specifically in the F50? Because overall, they were not good.
