This has eroded employee morale and in turn, lowered productivity. Frankly, I think Dell deserves to start feeling the consequences of its actions, and I hope a noticeable drop in productivity will make it clear to those on top what a cr-ppy job they've been doing for years.

didn't know they ever had it, missed that memo
You can see all the people that have been laid off which has affected the people that are left. There has not been any real information from Dell on what is happening. There has been a very small acknowledgement during initial meetings but that is it. If you don't keep your existing employees up to date on what is happening, it can only lead to people speculating. Good luck to everyone. I think it is going to be rough in the next few years.
My new comp plan and quota are so ridiculous that the only energy I can put forth each day is to the applications I'm filling out for other companies. It's pretty miserable here now by design. They want us to leave so I'm doing my best to get 'er done!
It's a dying company/brand.
really no innovation or vision for the future. The corporate identity is latching onto what's cool at the moment.
They know it, you know it, the public knows it.
I don't think they give a damn and are too clueless to notice even if they did.
The recent Tell Dell should have been a wakeup call for them but like most thought... they would ignore it and spin the results in a way that made themfeel/look better. The place is a dinosaur and is too bloated to make the turnaround they need.
