Why is there never any good news related to GF?? TC tries to make up some hype right before earnings call but lately he can't even make up anything. Layoffs are always only a quarter a way at GF. GF is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you are going to get or more so, you never know when layoffs are going to happen.
It’s happening, slowly.

More in procurement as well, but they were made aware earlier in the year, as they handed over their jobs to folks overseas.

Chatter died off after earnings/globalcast, further evidence of how manipulated this board is ever since IPO. Only 13k employees, but lots more traders trying to play the market.
I heard the “anonymous” poster who frequents this page, posting useless trash of nothing, weekly, is next in line to get canned.
The fact that you feel insecure means you are not preparing yourself. Always be proactive, keep resumé and LinkedIn updated. Network, Network, Network . When you feel insecure at your current job, you should be actively looking for a new one.
