Re comment “Nothing happening in sept, senior director told me it's done and over for now”

While that may be the circumstances for YOUR team and director, there very much IS more to come, however it’s not at another drastic level like Aug 5th.

Remember, someone has to still run the company, it won’t run or grow by itself

If it's anything like the last two years, it will continue.

done and over for your sr director isnt done and over for everyone. people on this site always seem to think their narrow pov represent the wider company.

more is coming, it will not be as huge or as widespread as the august layoff, think of it simialrly to previous years where there was a big hit followed by smaller monthly layoffs. this is mostly to stay in line with local regulations, as well as trim where it makes sense following re-orgs. obvious one to come is i6 and below in india, i7 and above already informed.

a lot of the september numbers will include people already informed but in countries where they are given a month or so notice.

September is going to be the big one.
it's timed for post earnings [which is also going to be bad by the way]

From what's circulating in glassdoor and other sites, 16th September is the next wave and it's going to be rolling until the end of the financial year

There were no layoffs. Stop with these rumors.

No one was laid off. You don’t know anyone and that seems to be the consensus.

Dell is always family and no layoffs.
Let’s keep it positive and continue to grow and beat out competition

I don't know a single person laid off. Is this being spread out?

From my understanding it's over until Feb for sales support teams. Many teams in this area were safe this go around but once volume is down and IT releases have gone live it will be a sizable cut.
