What is the DB group?

It makes more sense to package out Legacy employees than just move them over. It would make the DB group pretty bloated if they all just shifted over. Not a good look on per bbl g&a figures.

Yep … keep selling producing assets and praying that we stay afloat until the B58 production comes on. Everyone should realize that the French are purposely dragging their feet to get out from under the carry with the goal to get APA to go insolvent in the mean time.

When you desperately need liquidity and fast, you are forced to sell assets that others want and if they know you are desperate, which we are, you usually get PV-20.

In order to pay down the target $2billion in term debt, you must sell at or above $2.5billion so that you enough after tax to cover the desired debt pay down.

Apache only paid BP $3.1billion for all of the Permian assets so it makes sense to liquidate at these prices, just sad that it's to pay off mistakes from several failed passion projects. I.E. Canada/Aussie LNG, Alpine, CNG Gas Stations, Swag Dance Lessons, and a zillion virtue trees.

Does the company plan to ever make any money again?

Because I don’t see how selling off what makes money and keeping and investing in stuff that doesn’t makes for successful, long-term strategy.

Or is the goal here just for the execs to loot the company and parachute out when there is nothing left to be sold?
