Whaaaa, quit being lazy and just do what you're told. Do you want a job or not? If you can't work it then we'll find some other monkey that can.

Management loves to tell you to do things you don’t want to do. That’s why I ask for OT all of the time, that way they’ll always tell me no.

How about running from Roseville to Bakersfield with 12 hours with stout at Stockton, stout at Fresno and then switch you're train at Saco, so it gets to
Walking or cliff without derailments and then they have you make a set out at Bakersfield. Truly smart MTO'S out there.

At Roseville, we're lucking to go Roseville to San Luis Obispo, with a work train within 12 hours with 1 crew.

They may be able to force me to stay for overtime but they can’t force me to work! Slow and safe wins the race.

In signal, the FRA is starting to examine overtime calls and the HOS. Times, dates, when going on duty, when ticket was opened/closed, co mingled service, etc. They've already found a number of discrepancies. Its really sad employees try to be dedicated and get the job done only to be repaid by management cutting jobs but while adding more and more work to be done. Can't be good to a management group so greedy that they only reward those who work hard by giving them more and more hard work.

Best of luck to them with that! Especially when many locations are already working 12 hour shifts with most people under HOS.

DeSoto won’t have to worry about it. They can’t even get the OT they need to fix things. Plenty of crafts willing to work it. Management says it’s a failure cost.
